How to measure blinds
All measurements should be taken in mm to the nearest 1mm. We strongly advise that you use a metal tape measure to ensure accurate measurements.
Please double-check all of your measurements before ordering as we cannot accept responsibility for measuring errors.
The three different measuring options are:
1. Inside Recess - Diagram 1
Please measure the width A-B at the narrowest point to ensure your blind will hang freely, then measure the drop C-D. We will work out the working tolerances for you. Decide which side you require the control chain, either left or right hand side while facing the window.
2. Outside Recess - Diagram 2
Firstly you will need to check for any obstructions that will interfere with the blind hanging. Decide how much overlap at the top and sides of the window recess you require. Most of our customers use at least 50mm for both.
Then measure the width A-B (including your overlap), then the drop C-D (again including the overlap). Decide which side you require the control chain - either left or right hand side while facing the window.
3. Fixed to Window Frame or Architrave - Diagram 3 & 4
Firstle, decide if you want your blind to hang on the inside or outside edge of the window frame/architrave.
Please measure the width A-B you require and drop C-D. Decide which side you require the control chain - either left or right hand side while facing the window.
