Prices
All of our prices include the current standard rate of VAT
Window Measurements
Please use our measuring guides before ordering as we make your products to your supplied sizes and we do not accept returns for any products that have been made to your bespoke sizes.
Sample Requests
We recommend that you request a sample cutting before placing your order to ensure it matches your home decoration. We try to replicate the colour and texture of our materials as accurately as possible, but computer screens do vary significantly. Because our products are bespoke, we can not accept any responsibility for product colours that do not match your existing home decoration. If you require an exact colour match, then please request a sample before placing your order. Please be aware that as with all fabrics slight colour variations from batch to batch can occur.
Payments
Since all products from The Real Curtain Company are bespoke made to your supplied measurements all orders are paid for when you order place your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Solo & Maestro. All Cheques and postal orders must be sent to us before your order is put into work. Any orders paid by cheque will be held for 7 days to allow your payment to clear before the order is put into production.
Delivery Policy
All orders for made to measure products will be despatched within 3-4 weeks from date of order, subject to fabric availability.
Individual items may be despatched separately.
All items will be delivered via DHL next day service and supplied Free of charge if your order is over £50.
All orders below £50 are subject to a £8.95 delivery charge
Returns policy
All our products are made to measure and are manufactured to our customer's individual sizes. Therefore no alterations, cancellations, or refunds can be accepted once your order has been placed with us.
For ease we provide detailed guidelines on measuring for curtains and blinds and we recommend you use these guides before purchasing.
All our made to measure products are hand made and quality checked at every stage to ensure that they are delivered to you in perfect condition.
In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the manufacture or the fabric then please contact our Customer Services department to be allocated a Returns Authorisation number. No return will be accepted without a Returns Authorisation number.

None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
Out of stock materials
On rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of a known delay, you will be contacted that day. The Real curtain company reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.
Inspection of product on delivery
Please inspect your products as soon as you receive them and notify us immediately of any damages in transit.
If your products have been supplied to the incorrect measurements or are damaged in transit, you need to notify us or we will not be able to repair or replace the damaged merchandise at no costs to yourself.
Blind products
All of our blinds are supplied with bracket fittings but not screws
Curtains products
All of our pinch pleat/goblet curtains will be supplied with Curtain hooks. Pencil pleated curtains are not supplied with curtain hooks.
All curtains are quoted as per pair.

Discontinued and Back Ordered Items
We have no control over materials that are discontinued or placed on backorder by the various manufacturers. We will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders.

Any information that you supply to us is stored with care and security.
Use of information
We will not collect any information about our customers, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them for the purchase or through sampling requests. Examples of information held are:

We will communicate through e-mail to you from time to time, to unsubscribe please reply to the e-mail and we will remove you from our mailing list.
Payment Details
Your payment details, credit card numbers etc. will remain within the operational system at The Real Curtain Company and will never be shared with any other company.
Your rights
In addition to our safeguards your personal data is protected in the UK by the Data Protection Act. This provides amongst other things that the data we hold about you should be processed lawfully and fairly. It should be accurate, relevant and not excessive. The information should, where necessary, be kept up to date and not retained for longer than is necessary. It should be kept securely to prevent unauthorised access by other people. You have the right to see what is held about you and correct any inaccuracies.
